Poker on hitbet runs Texas Hold'em, Omaha and Short Deck tables where the button, the blinds and four betting rounds set the cost of every decision — and Short Deck flips the ranking so a flush beats a full house.

RULES AND FLOW

How a Poker Hand Actually Unfolds

Every hand starts the same way: two hole cards land in front of you, the dealer button marks who acts last, and the small and big blinds post before the flop is dealt. From there Hold'em runs through four betting rounds — preflop, flop, turn and river — and you fold, check, call, bet or raise at each one. Position matters more than most new players expect.

Acting late gives you the information to price a draw properly rather than guess at it. Omaha changes the arithmetic, not the rhythm. You get four hole cards and must use exactly two of them with three from the board, so made hands are stronger and the nuts move more often.

Short Deck strips the 2s to 6s out of the deck, which lifts middle connectors and flips the ranking so a flush beats a full house. Cash tables let you buy in, play a few orbits and leave whenever you want; tournaments start everyone level and raise the blinds on a posted clock.

Hand strength reads the same wherever you sit: straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, one pair, high card. Learn those nine and the rest of poker is bet sizing.

01

Blinds and Button

The small and big blind post before any card is dealt, then the button moves one seat clockwise each hand. Blinds stay fixed for a table level, so you always know what waiting for a playable hand costs.

02

Betting Rounds

Four streets in Hold'em: preflop, flop, turn and river. Each street opens with a check or bet from the first active player after the button, and closes once everyone still in has matched the highest amount.

03

Hand Rankings

Nine categories, from straight flush down to high card, decide every showdown. In Short Deck the order shifts so a flush outranks a full house, because the trimmed deck makes flushes easier to complete than boats.

04

Stacks and Limits

Cash tables carry a minimum and maximum buy-in per stake, commonly 20 to 100 big blinds, and no-limit rules let you move the whole stack at any point. Tournament chips are fixed and blinds rise on a clock.

TABLE MECHANICS

Joining a Table and Placing Your First Bet

Sitting down takes three taps: open the poker tab, pick Hold'em, Omaha or Short Deck, then take any seat showing as free. Stake labels sit next to each table, so you can compare a BDT 10/20 game with a BDT 100/200 one before committing. On Android the felt rescales to portrait, cards stay legible, and the bet slider rests under your thumb.

01

Seat Selection

Choose an open seat and the buy-in range appears before you confirm. You can watch a table without posting, then join when the blinds reach you.

02

Bet Slider

The slider sets your raise anywhere between the minimum and your full stack. Type an exact figure if you prefer, and the pot total updates as the chips go in.

03

Hand History

Every hand you play is logged with the board, the action and the result. Open the log after a session to review where a call or a fold went wrong.

04

Mobile Felt

The table fits a phone screen in portrait, with cards, chip stacks and the action clock visible at once. Landscape widens the view for a nine-handed game.

TABLE TRANSPARENCY

Poker Table Facts for Bangladesh Players

Poker is a skill game, so no house-set RTP is printed on the felt — your result comes from the hands you choose and the pot odds you accept. What we do publish is structure: no-limit and fixed-limit tables, blinds that set the opening stake, and a rake taken from each pot rather than from your whole buy-in.

Game type

Community-card and stud variants, played against other people rather than against the house.

02

Volatility

No fixed RTP figure. Variance depends on your stack, your position and how often you commit chips.

03

Supported devices

Android phones and desktop browsers both load the table; the portrait layout works for mobile play.

04

Access region

Open to adult players in Bangladesh, with Hold'em and Omaha tables running through the evening.

POKER HELP DESK

Getting Help With a Poker Table

Table questions usually get answered in minutes, not hours. Our local support team handles rule disputes, dropped connections and seat reservations in English, and you can reach them from inside the poker lobby without closing your table. Keep the hand number ready — it sits in the corner of the table window and speeds everything up.

01

Live chat at the table

Tap the chat icon at the table edge and the agent picks up your hand number automatically.

02

Hand history review

Ask us to pull a disputed pot and we check the logged action order, then send the replay.

03

Account help

Verification and wallet queries go to the account desk, so poker support forwards them without you repeating details.

FAIR PLAY CHECKS

Shuffles, Rules and Table Trust

Every deal on hitbet is generated by a certified random number generator, and the shuffle seed is logged against the hand so a disputed result can be replayed card by card. Stakes stay inside the limits printed on the table list — you pick the blind level before you sit down. We do not seat house players at your table.

01

Rules before the flop

Table rules sit one tap above the felt, covering betting order, minimum raises and how a misdeal is handled.

02

Certified shuffle

The random number generator is tested by an independent lab, and each shuffle result is archived for later review.

03

Stake limits

Blind levels are fixed per table, so a low-stakes seat and a high-stakes seat never mix chips.

04

Round history

Your recent hands stay in the client for a set period, so you can check what you folded or called.

POKER GLOSSARY

Poker Terms in Plain English

Poker has a short vocabulary, and every word in it carries a money decision. Learn blind, position, pot odds and rake once and each table on hitbet reads faster. We define what a term does inside a hand, not what it sounds like in a rulebook.

What are blinds in Poker?
Blinds are forced bets the two seats left of the button post before any cards come out, so every pot starts with money in it.Example: With blinds at 20 and 40 Taka, the small blind posts 20 before seeing a single card.
What is the flop?
The flop is the first three shared cards dealt face up after pre-flop betting ends. Every player still in the hand may use them.Example: You hold two hearts and the flop brings two more, giving you a flush draw on the turn.
What does position mean?
Position is your seat relative to the button. Acting last means you see what others do before spending chips, which is a genuine edge.Example: On the button you call a raise only after watching three players fold ahead of you.
What are pot odds?
Pot odds compare what a call costs against what the pot already holds. Call 200 Taka into a 1,000 Taka pot and you are getting five to one.Example: A 300 Taka call into a 900 Taka pot is three to one, so a draw needs decent outs.
What is the rake?
Rake is the cut a card room takes from each pot to cover dealing and running the table, normally a small percentage capped at a fixed amount.Example: A 5 percent rake capped at 100 Taka means a 4,000 Taka pot contributes only the cap.
What is showdown?
Showdown is the final reveal after the river, when remaining players turn their hole cards up and the best five-card hand takes the pot.Example: Two players reach showdown, one shows a full house, the other mucks quietly.

BEFORE YOU SIT

Your Poker Questions, Answered

These are the things players ask us most before buying into a poker table. Read the three answers on betting order first, then check the mobile and split-pot notes before you sit down with Taka.

How does a Poker hand run from deal to showdown?

You post a blind, take two hole cards, then bet through the flop, turn and river. The best five-card hand at showdown collects the pot.

Do I need a desktop to play Poker?

No. The table fits a phone screen, so you can fold, call or raise from an Android phone on mobile data, with the same blinds and limits as desktop.

Can I fold, call or raise before the flop?

Yes. Pre-flop betting opens with the seat left of the big blind, and you may fold, match the blind or raise before those three community cards appear.

What happens when two hands are identical?

The pot splits evenly between them. Any odd chip from a split goes to the player nearest the left of the button, so nothing is lost.

Is Poker decided by skill or luck?

Both sit in it. The cards decide each individual deal, but position, bet sizing and knowing when to fold shape results across hundreds of hands.

How do cash tables differ from tournaments?

At a cash table your chips equal money and you can leave between hands. In a tournament everyone starts with equal stacks and plays until one remains.
